Leavenworth

We were able to take a trip to Leavenworth where we stayed at the Sleeping Lady Resort (great food!). One day we went snowshoeing (Lucia stayed at Grandma & Grandpa's). Sort of hard to do when you have no energy, but worth getting outside and seeing some snow.

She was so excited about this umbrella that we had to go for a walk on Christmas day. She says you can use it as a walking stick too!

snowman update

I'm long overdue posting to this blog, but I had to add this picture of the snowman after the melt began. We took it from the second story, but it sort of looks like he jumped to his death.

Let it Snow

We had a great time making a snowman yesterday. It snowed from 11am through the night. It was still snowing when we went to bed around 11pm and sure looks pretty. Lucia doesn't care for the cold too much and hates to wear gloves but she is pretty proud of the snowman that we built.
